What’s Happening in the Classrooms this week?

This week in our classrooms, the excitement is buzzing as the kids dive into creative Rosh Hashana projects! They’re getting crafty, exploring the holiday's meaning, and putting their unique touches on their projects. Outside, the fun continues with plenty of fresh air and active play, while inside, the students are settling beautifully into their daily routines. It was a week full of learning, laughter, and discovery!

“I gave her the window washing lesson after she showed interest in the spray bottle when she helped me clean the table after painting. She seems to very much enjoy it as she is doing it over and over again!” - Morah Atara

Let the creative juices flow! Rosh Hashana projects are underway! Scroll for a sneak peak for what you will see coming home in some backpacks and Shabbos Folders in the near future!

The teachers enjoyed delicious hot cocoa, courtesy of the admin, to warm up on the unexpectedly chilly Thursday!

Our Montessori work cycles are in full swing! The children are fully engaged in hands-on learning, from sorting and lacing to building fine motor skills with bead threading and working on concentration through pouring activities. It's wonderful to see their independence and curiosity blossom as they explore each task at their own pace. These activities are fostering growth in focus, coordination, and problem-solving, laying the foundation for lifelong learning.

Show and Tell has been a big hit this week! The children are proudly sharing their favorite items, from treasured toys to family mementos, sparking curiosity and conversation among their classmates. It's a wonderful opportunity for them to build confidence, practice public speaking, and connect with their peers as they explain why their chosen object is special to them. The excitement in the room is contagious as each child takes a turn in the spotlight!
