Hey CMCH Parents!

We are thrilled to introduce ourselves as your new PTA Presidents for the upcoming school year! We, Tirtza Gestetner and Raizel Deitsch, each have a son currently in their second and third year at the preschool, and we are so excited to take on this role.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the parents who have already shown an eagerness to get involved and volunteer their time. Your enthusiasm is what makes our community so special, and we look forward to working together to create an amazing year for our children.

Our vision for 2024 is all about building a strong sense of community through classroom connections. We aim to help parents in each class get to know one another better by focusing on smaller events and appointing a room parent for each class to keep everyone—parents, teachers, and students—connected throughout the year.

We're also excited to introduce the Chai (Life) Chair, a new initiative to support and celebrate our school families during life cycle events.

To help everyone stay connected, we encourage you to use the Playground app, where we’ll share photos and updates on PTA activities. Additionally, we’ll continue our tradition of showing appreciation to our wonderful teachers and staff through our "Grateful Goodies" program, where each class contributes snacks and food to keep our teachers fueled with love.

We had such a great time at our first Meet and Greet event and can’t wait for what’s next! Be sure to join us for Shabbat in the Park on Friday, September 27, and stay tuned for class park play dates in September and October.
