Once Upon a Morah: A Magical Teacher Appreciation Week

This past week was nothing short of a fairytale! From the moment we walked through the doors on Monday to the final moments of Friday’s carline, we felt truly cherished, appreciated, and celebrated, all thanks to the incredible thoughtfulness of our parents and PTA.

With the enchanting theme of “Once Upon a Morah,” each day brought another surprise, inspired by a beloved children’s book. Every detail was planned with such love, and we are still smiling from the magic of it all!

🍪 Monday: If You Give a Mouse a Cookie – The week began with a warm and welcoming homemade breakfast spread, made with so much care. There’s nothing like starting the day with good food and even better company!

🌳 Tuesday: The Giving Tree – Thoughtful gifts, including book lights, reminded us how much our work is valued. And the beautiful cupcake arrangement shaped like a tree? A sweet (and stunning!) touch that made the day even more special.

🌙 Wednesday: Goodnight Moon – What a dream! Our multi-purpose room was transformed into a spa retreat, and two amazing massage therapists treated us to well-deserved relaxation. We can confidently say this was a teacher appreciation highlight like no other!

🐛 Thursday: The Very Hungry Caterpillar – A true labor of love! Parents stepped in to cover classrooms, giving us the rare gift of an uninterrupted, beautifully prepared lunch together. We were so impressed with how engaged the children were with the parents stepping in as teachers! Let us know if any of you want a job 😉 And in perfect keeping with the theme, every dish on the table was pulled straight from the pages of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The attention to detail was incredible!

💐 Friday: The Flower Shop – A breathtaking end to a perfect week. Our PTA set up shop at morning carline, and as students each brought a single flower to their teachers, the most unique, colorful, and heartwarming bouquets came to life!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to our wonderful PTA chairs and every parent who baked, volunteered, purchased… everything to make this week possible. A special thank you to PTA chairs: Sara Gee, Bracha Yurkowitz, Ita Posner , Rachel Shizgal, Sheina Kavka, and Adina Wihelm, Your kindness, generosity, and effort mean the world to us. We feel so blessed to be part of a community that treasures its teachers the way all of our parents do.

With love and gratitude,
The Teachers & Administration of CMCH❤️
