A Note from Dassie’s Desk: Trust, Teamwork, and Triumph!
The privilege of trusting those around you is never taken for granted. In this week’s Torah portion, Chayei Sarah, Avraham sends his loyal servant, Eliezer, to find the right wife for Yitzchok. The Torah emphasizes the strong relationship between Avraham and Eliezer, describing him as a "loyal servant"—someone Avraham could trust with such an important task. Once Avraham entrusted Eliezer with the mission, he had no hesitation in doing so.
We often find ourselves overwhelmed, unsure of how things will turn out. The uncertainty can be our biggest obstacle to success.
This month’s calendar is packed with events and deadlines—Shabbat with Dad, Pizza in the Playground, PTCs, opening registration for 2025-26 (coming soon, not open yet- don’t stress!), launching our new 18-month class, the CMCH celebration party, and our $770,000 fundraising campaign. It’s hard to breathe!
But I’m learning from Avraham that when you have loyal people around you—and we certainly do—there’s no room for uncertainty. I’m counting on all of you—teachers, administration, parents, and alumni—to help us cross the finish line this month with flying colors. We are brave, swift, light, and strong! Together, we will make it happen!
Shabbat Shalom!
